Alpha Kappa Psi is recognized as the world's premier co-ed professional business fraternity. Founded in 1904 at New York University, the fraternity was created on the basis of four ideals:
Over the past century, membership has grown to more than 200,000 worldwide. The guiding principles are as strong today as they were 100 years ago: Building Brotherhood, Lifelong Learning, High Ethical Standards, Improving Communities, and Enhancing the Fraternity for Life.
In 1972, the Iota Xi Chapter was founded at Arizona State University. Since then, our brothers have built a legacy and a name for Alpha Kappa Psi through service and leadership in the community. Our chapter provides a unique college experience that balances accelerated professional development with the strongest bonds of brotherhood.
The Iota Xi Chapter at Arizona State University has gained national exposure through the several events it has created to assist the community. Events include:
The AKPsi Open is another event ran by Iota Xi. The AKPsi Open is teamed together with DSNetwork to raise awareness and donate all proceeds to their cause.
AKPsi Open is a project managed by Iota Xi, a child of Alpha Kappa Psi Fraternities, LLC.
